You'll be part of the Consulting team at Tech Sequence, reporting to the Architecture Manager.

The Solution Consultant / Solution Architect designs the overall technology solution for a customer engagement — ensuring business requirements, applications, data, integration, technology, cloud, and security are aligned into one coherent solution blueprint. This capability owns Solution Architecture and Enterprise Architecture as a single practice within Consulting: the overall solution design, not the software implementation, infrastructure build, or code-level architecture. This role owns business and functional definition, not implementation. It is not accountable for software coding, software/application architecture, infrastructure implementation, or IT operations — those responsibilities sit with Engineering (ENG), Cloud & Infrastructure (CLD), and IT Operations (OPS). Software/application architecture sits with Engineering (ENG); cloud/infrastructure architecture sits with Cloud & Infrastructure (CLD).

Design the solution blueprint and high-level design (HLD), aligning applications, data, integration, technology, cloud, and security. Assess technology options and application landscape, and recommend technology selection based on business and functional requirements. Define architecture roadmap, standards, and governance for the engagement; conduct architecture reviews. Provide direction on application rationalization, technology modernization, and integration strategy. Support RFP/RFI responses, technical proposals, presales architecture, and customer technical workshops. Provide input on TCO and solution economics for proposed architectures. Partner with Business Consulting & Analysis and Functional Consulting on requirement alignment, and with Engineering (ENG) and Cloud & Infrastructure (CLD) on implementation feasibility. Solution blueprint and high-level design (HLD) documents. Architecture assessment, technology roadmap, and architecture governance artifacts. Technical proposal content and RFP/RFI responses.

7+ years, including experience owning solution architecture for a full engagement. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage. TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification is an advantage; cloud architecture certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus.

Able to think across business, application, data, and infrastructure layers at once. Strong technical communication skills for both engineering and executive audiences.
