02

About the team

You'll be part of the Digital Engineering / Software Engineering team at Tech Sequence, reporting to the Engineering Manager.

03

The role

The Full Stack Software Engineer designs, develops, and maintains both the client-side interfaces and the server-side systems, APIs, databases, and services that power Tech Sequence's products and client solutions. Working closely with the Engineering Manager and cross-functional teams — including designers, product owners, and DevOps — this role delivers scalable, secure, and high-performance applications spanning user interfaces, application logic, data storage, integrations, and cloud infrastructure. The role translates business and product requirements into robust technical designs and contributes to the architecture, standards, and technical roadmap of each project. The Full Stack Software Engineer owns the quality of the systems they build — performance, reliability, security, and maintainability — and supports the full software lifecycle, from design and implementation through testing, deployment, and ongoing operation. This role demands strong, hands-on engineering expertise: the ideal candidate understands both frontend and backend development end-to-end and can architect, build, and optimize production-grade applications across the entire stack, not merely wire together existing components.

What success looks like

Ramp up on our systems, codebase, and current projects in your first 30 days Own a defined area of work with minimal supervision by day 60 Deliver a complete piece of work end-to-end by day 90

05

What you'll do

Design, build, and maintain client-side interfaces, server-side applications, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and microservices across the full development lifecycle, contributing to scope, estimates, and technical quality. Deliver assigned features on time and to agreed quality standards, writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code. Build responsive, accessible, and cross-browser user interfaces using modern frameworks, translating UI/UX designs into performant client-side experiences. Manage application state, optimize front-end performance, and ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across devices and browsers. Contribute to the design of scalable, resilient frontend and backend architectures, data models, and service boundaries that meet performance and reliability requirements. Make sound technical trade-offs, document design decisions, and keep the team aligned on the technical approach. Develop and integrate APIs, third-party services, and internal systems; design and optimize relational and NoSQL database schemas, queries, and data pipelines. Ensure data integrity, security, and efficient access patterns across services. Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams, participating in code reviews and upholding coding standards and best practices. Contribute to shared libraries, tooling, and reusable components, and support engineering excellence across the team. Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting, and help resolve production issues to maintain system reliability. Identify opportunities to improve performance, scalability, and developer productivity, and contribute to technical planning and estimation.

06

Skills & experience

This position is a Full Stack Software Engineer role and is not tied to a single programming language (for example, it is not a ".NET Engineer" position). Candidates are evaluated against the skill matrix below — a primary technology stack complemented by secondary and adjacent skills.

07

Skill Tier

Capabilities

08

Primary Skill

.NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) with React or Angular

09

Secondary Skills

Node.js, Python, Vue.js, TypeScript

10

Other Relevant Skills

Additional backend languages such as Java or Go, frontend tooling and libraries (e.g., Next.js, Tailwind CSS), and technologies aligned with the Microsoft ecosystem, SAP, Oracle, and similar enterprise platforms

11

What we look for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant professional certification is a strong advantage. Minimum 5 years of experience in full stack software development, building and maintaining production-grade web applications and services across frontend and backend. Proven experience with one or more backend languages and frameworks such as C#/.NET, Node.js, Python/Django, Java/Spring Boot, or Go, together with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, presentation, and English communication skills. Deep understanding of core full stack domains — responsive frontend development, API design, data modelling, authentication and authorization, caching, and asynchronous processing — and how they map to scalable system design. Strong command of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis), messaging/streaming (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with SDLC and delivery methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, hybrid) and hands-on experience with version control, CI/CD, and containerization tools (e.g., Git, Jira, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps). Experience delivering full stack systems for international clients and distributed teams, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment. Exposure to microservices architecture, event-driven systems, or high-throughput/low-latency services. Professional certifications such as AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud certifications, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), or relevant backend technology certifications are an advantage.

12

Who you are

Product-minded, quality-focused, outcome-driven, and comfortable working through ambiguity. Self-driven, proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced startup environment. Strong ownership, accountability, and a passion for technology, innovation, and continuous learning.
