About the team
You'll be part of the Consulting team at Tech Sequence, reporting to the Industry Practice Manager.
The role
The Industry Consultant brings specialized industry knowledge — Retail, Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Automotive, Technology, Healthcare, Logistics, Consumer Goods, or E-commerce — and translates industry-specific requirements into business and transformation recommendations. The role works closely with Business Consulting & Analysis, Functional Consulting, Digital Transformation, and Solution & Enterprise Architecture to ground engagements in industry context and best practice. This role owns business and functional definition, not implementation. It is not accountable for software coding, software/application architecture, infrastructure implementation, or IT operations — those responsibilities sit with Engineering (ENG), Cloud & Infrastructure (CLD), and IT Operations (OPS).

What you'll do
Conduct industry research, benchmarking, and best-practice analysis relevant to the customer's sector. Track industry trends, regulatory context, and competitive dynamics that affect solution recommendations. Analyze industry-specific processes and business models, and identify where they diverge from the customer's current state. Advise Business Consulting & Analysis, Functional Consulting, and Digital Transformation on industry context during requirement and process design. Contribute industry perspective to transformation recommendations. Support customer advisory conversations with industry benchmarks and best-practice examples. Industry research and benchmarking reports. Industry best-practice recommendations incorporated into business and transformation deliverables. Industry point-of-view materials for proposals and advisory conversations.
Skills & experience
Industry research, benchmarking, and business-model analysis. Ability to translate industry trends into practical business and transformation recommendations.
What we look for
5+ years of deep industry experience, including advisory to senior stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a field relevant to the target industry; a Master's degree is an advantage. Industry-specific certifications or professional body memberships are an advantage where applicable.
Who you are
Curious, well-read, and able to translate sector knowledge into practical recommendations. Strong communication skills for advisory conversations with business stakeholders.
