About the team
You'll be part of the Digital Engineering / Software Engineering team at Tech Sequence, reporting to the Engineering Manager.
The role
Software is how Tech Sequence turns strategy into working products. Our Digital Engineering team builds and operates the applications, APIs, and platforms — spanning backend, frontend, and full-stack development — that power client solutions across AI, ERP/CRM implementation, custom web and mobile applications, and integrated smart infrastructure systems. We deliver across manufacturing, logistics, commercial real estate, retail, and office environments, pairing production-grade engineering discipline with startup pace — writing clean, tested, maintainable code and shipping features that hold up in real client environments. The Software Engineering Intern is the entry point into Tech Sequence's Digital Engineering career ladder — a structured opportunity to learn software engineering hands-on, under close guidance. This role builds the coding fundamentals and professional habits that grow into a Software Engineer career. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Software Engineering Intern assists engineers with coding tasks, testing, and documentation, and learns the software development lifecycle, tools, and engineering practices. This is a G0 development role focused on learning, contribution, and readiness for a future Software Engineer position.

What you'll do
Assist engineers with coding, debugging, and configuration tasks under supervision. Build small features and proofs-of-concept to learn the codebase and tools. Shadow engineers to learn software design, coding standards, and delivery practices. Build knowledge of programming languages, frameworks, and the software development lifecycle. Help write documentation, code comments, and test cases. Support testing, debugging, and code quality checks. Complete assigned training and coding exercises. Demonstrate reliability, curiosity, and readiness for a Software Engineer role.
Skills & experience
Programming fundamentals (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript) and data structures & algorithms basics. Version control (Git), basic SQL/database concepts, and exposure to web frameworks or REST APIs. Cloud fundamentals, testing basics, and a strong willingness to learn.
What we look for
Studying toward, or recently completed, a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field. Interest in software engineering, with basic programming knowledge. Eager to learn, reliable, and detail-oriented. Basic English communication skills.
